The
Native Village of Kotzebue/KIRA and the Robert "Aqqaluk" Newlin, Sr.
Memorial Trust co-hosted the annual student site visits at the UAA and
UAF Campuses for autumn term 2002. The sites were chosen since an estimated
40% of our scholarship recipients attend in-state institutions. A student-mentoring
planning meeting was hosted by the Robert "Aqqaluk" Newlin, Sr. Memorial
Trust in Anchorage on March 21, 2003 and the annual student dinner was
held the following day.
